Field Service Technician

Salary: Up to £32k

Eskens Tinting Solutions UK is part of the Eskens Group B.V and operate through Central Europe, providing our customers with a wide range of maintenance and tinting solutions. With over 14 years’ experience in the UK paint and coatings industry, we support everything from the smallest tinting operation to large scale projects. Eskens Group UK has expanded rapidly making us the largest independent Tinting Machinery Service and Sales Company in the UK.

About the role:
The purpose of this role is to be accountable for maintenance, troubleshooting, installing various tinting, mixing systems and software for our current customer base as well as new customer contracts across the UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities

Maintaining first class quality standards in line with business principles through remote support and site visits whilst meeting our customers SLA.
Capable of building up our customer’s trust and rapport through demonstrating the ability to rectify problems and deliver expectation with confidence.
Ability to perform machine set up, preparation, installation and maintenance of Dispensers, Mixers and Shakers and PC equipment including software and remote technology.
Demonstrate the correct skill set to reactively perform both ends of the spectrum from minor fault finding through to major technical issue.
Responsible for own conduct whilst representing the company in the field in line with Eskens code of conduct.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years electromechanical service experience including being fully PC literate, with an understanding of both firmware and operating software.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and electrical circuit diagrams.
Experienced insight into technical faults, mechanical, electrical and software-based issues.
Full/Clean UK Driving Licence.
The role is a fully mobile role throughout the UK and Ireland and occasionally Europe with overnight stays required.

Hours of operation

At Eskens Group UK we operate over 7 days per week, from 8am to 8pm Mon to Fri, 8am to 6pm Sat and 9.30am to 5.30 pm Sun within the office. The field role may work outside these hours to take account of travel to customers sites. In addition, you will be required to work with the customers operating hours to meet our agreed SLA’s. To meet our customers’ needs and SLA’s, overnight stays will be required.
