Dental Receptionist - Front of House
Location: Central London
Salary: £13.50–£15.50 per hour + Bonus + Benefits
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Position Overview

We are seeking a professional, friendly, and highly organised Dental Receptionist to serve as the face of our clinic. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring a smooth, efficient patient journey from arrival to departure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for all patients, representing the clinic in a professional and welcoming manner
Open and close the clinic according to established procedures
Greet patients in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
Check patients in and out efficiently while maintaining accuracy
Take, process and record payments accurately.
Encourage and assist patients in booking their next appointments before leaving the clinic
Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming reception area at all times
Work closely with treatment coordinators and the clinical team to ensure a seamless patient journey
Ensure all necessary consent forms are completed and signed prior to patients entering treatment rooms
Build rapport with patients and provide reassurance and support to anxious or nervous patients
Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times
Manage appointment scheduling and diary coordination
Maintain accurate patient records in the practice management system
Adhere to confidentiality policies and data protection regulations

Experience & Qualifications

Previous experience in a dental reception role preferred
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is an advantage
Experience using SOE is desirable
