Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and comfort across Ingliston Hotel & Country Club. In this pivotal role you will oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of hygiene, and foster a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Your leadership will drive efficiency, maintain impeccable standards, and promote a positive, collaborative workplace culture. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about hospitality and dedicated to creating memorable guest experiences through superior cleanliness and service.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality cleaning services.
Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and standards aligned with hospitality industry best practices.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and equipment to uphold cleanliness standards.
Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs promptly and efficiently.
Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective usage.
Train new staff on cleaning protocols, safety procedures, and customer service expectations.
Address guest concerns related to cleanliness swiftly and professionally to enhance overall satisfaction.

Experience

Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or a similar hospitality environment.
Strong understanding of janitorial processes, cleaning techniques, and safety regulations.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with staff and interact positively with guests.
Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and quality assurance protocols.
