You’ll work in a dynamic and fulfilling environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a positive impact on people’s lives.

We recruit specifically for each of our service users, matching not only clinical skills, but personalities and lifestyle too. Our experienced nursing team will provide you with full client-specific training. This is a fantastic chance to join a supportive team and hone your skills in complex care, with outstanding 24/7 clinical support at your fingertips. In the ever-changing world of complex care in the community, you’ll make a real difference with HASCS.

Role Responsibilities

As a healthcare assistant in this package of care you will:

Support your service user with their physical care needs, including personal care, mobility, nutrition, and comfort.
Deliver person-centered care according to bespoke care plans.
Promote independence and respect each service users spiritual, psychological, and cultural needs.
Maintain accurate care records.
Assist with communication between patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
Administer prescribed medication or clinical tasks after completing our advanced training and competency sign off.
Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the Regional Nurse Manager.
Contribute to a supportive, high-standard care environment.

Clinical Skills

Please note that whilst experience in these areas are desirable, we will provide service user specific training.

Gastrostomy care and feeding
Cough assist
Suctioning
NP suctioning
Moving and handling
Medication
NIV

Personal Attributes

The successful applicant in this role will be:

Reliable and committed.

Excellent communication skills including verbal and written.
Enthusiastic with a willingness to learn.
Passionate, dedicated, and empathetic.
Experience is not essential for this position.
Proof of your right to live and work in the UK.

Pay Rates

£14/h flat rate
£26/h Bank Holiday

Working Pattern

Weeknights- 10pm to 8am
