Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated GDC Registered Dental Nurse to join our professional dental team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, supporting dental procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice. The role involves working closely with dentists and other dental professionals to deliver outstanding service to our patients.

Responsibilities

Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising equipment in accordance with infection control protocols
Providing pre- and post-operative care instructions to patients
Managing patient records accurately using IT systems and maintaining organisational standards
Supporting patients through effective communication, addressing their concerns and questions with professionalism
Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations within the practice
Managing appointment schedules efficiently to optimise patient flow
Supporting administrative tasks such as stock management and ordering supplies

Qualifications

GDC Registration as a Dental Nurse is essential
Proven experience in patient care within a dental setting is desirable
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good IT literacy, including familiarity with dental practice management software
Knowledge of infection control standards and health & safety regulations in dentistry
Ability to work well within a team and demonstrate professionalism at all times
