Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.
Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
Dust, vacuum, and mop floors; clean windows and mirrors; and sanitise bathrooms.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.
Assist with laundry services when required.
Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.

Skills

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues.
Attention to detail and an organised approach to tasks.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively.
Basic cooking skills would be an advantage for preparing light meals or snacks when necessary.
