Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Account Assistant to join our administrative team. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a professional environment. The successful candidate will support various accounting and administrative functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Prior office experience and proficiency with computer software are essential for this role.

Duties

Create and upload invoices to client third party systems.
Paying supplier invoices.
Chasing overdue invoices and providing reports to management.
Dealing with customer invoice enquiries.
Adding compliance reports to CRM systems.
Manage and update client accounts, invoices, and payment records
Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
Handle incoming calls with professional phone etiquette, directing enquiries as appropriate
Organise and file documents systematically, ensuring easy retrieval of information
Utilise Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools for correspondence, document creation, and scheduling
Perform general administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and maintaining office supplies
Support the team with clerical duties including typing, note-taking, and calendar managementQualifications
Prior office experience or administrative experience is preferred
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar)
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks
Demonstrated phone etiquette and professional communication skills
Knowledge of clerical procedures and data management practicesThis role offers a supportive environment where organisational skills and attention to detail are highly valued. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and eager to contribute to the efficiency of our administrative operations.

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
