Role overview

The Senior Marketing and Communications Manager will play a central role in developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, engage key stakeholders, and drive business growth. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of marketing, public relations, and advertising within competitive markets.

Key responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans aligned with business objectives and market trends.
Lead corporate communications efforts, including press releases, media relations, and internal communications.
Manage digital marketing initiatives, including social media, email campaigns, and website content management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling marketing materials and promotional content.
Oversee brand management to ensure consistent messaging and visual identity across all channels.
Analyse market data and campaign performance metrics to optimise marketing strategies and maximise ROI.
Build and maintain relationships with external agencies, media contacts, and industry partners.

Qualifications and experience

Proven experience in a marketing and communications management role, ideally within the Marketing, PR & Advertising sectors.
Demonstrable success in developing and delivering marketing strategies that drive measurable business results.
Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and content management systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft clear, persuasive messages for diverse audiences.
Experience managing budgets and working with external agencies and suppliers.
Ability to analyse data and market research to inform decision-making.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
A relevant degree or professional qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and marketing analytics tools.
Knowledge of the UK marketing landscape and regulatory considerations.
