Full job description

The award-winning Purbeck Ice Cream is looking for an individual to form part of our Senior Events team leadership.

The role will include attending a number of outdoor events including Country Shows, Food and Music Festivals, and Royal Horticultural Flower Shows while manging the wider team.

The role requires meticulous record keeping and admin for the division while working closely with event organisers both from the office and while attending events.

Representing the company in a professional manner, you will handle the smooth running of the events division partnered with another Senior team member.

The successful person will have some experience of working in, and leading a fast-paced events team

You will be a highly organised individual, confident in project management, record keeping and admin skills, with an ability to manage priorities. An enthusiastic person who can work well within a team while working independently.

It’s a lively, hard-working team. Applicants need to be sociable, engaging and friendly characters. It is essential you are a capable driver, and competent enough to drive a Luton-style van.

Located near Corfe Castle in Dorset, you will require your own means of transport to the farm.

What will you bring?

Have at least 4+ years’ experience working as an events Supervisor in a Senior role.
Proven track record in training and developing a team
Good communication skills and excellent attention to detail
Upbeat and energetic personality.
Ability to Lead and motivate the team, providing clear direction and support to ensure exceptional service delivery
Ensure the highest standards of service during events, managing the setup, execution, and breakdown with meticulous attention to detail
Proven experience in event planning and management, preferably in a senior or leadership role
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Exceptional communication skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams
Proficient in time management to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
