Job Summary

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pharmacy Assistant/Dispenser, where you will play a vital role in supporting pharmacy operations and ensuring patients receive safe, accurate, and timely medication services. This energetic position involves assisting pharmacists with dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing exceptional patient care. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to a smooth pharmacy workflow and enhance patient satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare and dispense prescribed medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
Assist in medication administration processes, ensuring proper labeling and storage of pharmaceuticals
Provide excellent patient care by answering queries, offering medication guidance, and supporting health education initiatives
Manage pharmacy inventory, including stock replenishment, expiry checks, and order processing
Maintain meticulous records of prescriptions, medication logs, and patient interactions in compliance with regulatory standards
Support the pharmacy team during clinical activities and administrative tasks to ensure efficient operations
Uphold safety protocols by verifying prescriptions, checking for drug interactions, and adhering to legal dispensing procedures

Experience

Previous experience as a pharmacy assistant is highly desirable
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy software systems is also highly desirable
Strong commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills
Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills to manage medication inventories effectively
