Job Description

We are an East London leading Law Firm. We currently have opportunity open to Solicitors/Trainee Solicitors/Paralegals who wish to join our busy team.

We will prefer applicants who live close proximity to any of our offices - Barking or East ham; and is able to start work ASAP on a fee-sharing basis (full-time/Part time).

The role will involve but not limited to:

Meeting with and obtaining instructions from clients
Carrying out client work as allocated by partners, under their supervision.
Keeping abreast of changes in the law and managing own professional development
Organising and maintaining documents/evidence in the firm’s paper and electronic filing systems
Preparing court bundles
Drafting legal documents, Statements and Applications
Corresponding with clients, opponents and third parties
Ensuring that all client work is progressed expeditiously.
Adhering to the strict rules on confidentiality and privacy of all of the firms and client’s document and information.
Participating in marketing activities whether on a firm-wide, departmental or office basis.
Complying with the SRA Code of Conduct and the SRA Accounts Rules.

Attributes Required:

Must have legal background/experience in Family, Housing and Personal Injury law
Good client care and good communication skills
Organisational and supervisory skills
Administrative ability
Ability and willingness to constantly update oneself
Management ability

East London: East Ham/Dockland

Manchester: Trafford

Salary:

PAYE/Fee sharing/Commission basis

Yes, subject to demonstrating relevant experience to work without direct supervision
