Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Fabricator/Fitter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting production processes, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with practical skills and a keen interest in fabrication, assembly, and warehouse operations. The successful applicant will be involved in various tasks requiring physical effort and technical knowledge, contributing to the smooth running of our factory operations.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain machinery and equipment used in production processes
Assist with assembly of products using hand tools, power tools, and sewing equipment as required
Conduct fabrication tasks including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
Handle heavy lifting safely to move raw materials or finished goods within the warehouse or production area
Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specified standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work environment to adhere to health and safety regulations
Support warehouse activities such as stock organisation, inventory management, and loading/unloading goods
Follow health and safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential
Mechanical knowledge or experience with hand tools, power tools, or fabrication processes is desirable
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in assembly and quality control tasks
Good physical fitness with the ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks throughout the shift
Basic understanding of health and safety procedures within a factory setting
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different production roles
