Carpentry Site Supervisor – Maidstone, Kent

Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Carpentry Site Supervisor to join our team on an exciting new build housing project in Brentwood, Essex area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional looking to contribute to quality residential developments.

Key Details:

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £180 to £250 per day (Daily rate negotiable, dependent on experience)
Work Location: On site, in person

Responsibilities

Organise and coordinate the workforce to ensure the site programme is met.
Supervise all carpentry works including snagging, joists, roofs, 1st fix, 2nd fix and finals.
Complete all required Quality Assurance (QA) sheets in a timely and accurate manner.
Interpret and work from detailed drawings and specifications, adhering to NHBC building standards throughout.
Report regularly to the Contracts Manager, who will provide ongoing support and guidance.

Requirements

Proven experience in carpentry site supervision, background as a sub-contractor is essential.
Previous involvement in new build housing sites is essential.
Valid CSCS card.
SMSTS or SSSTS qualification is highly desirable but not essential.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a team effectively.
Ability to read, understand and work from technical drawings and details.
Familiarity with NHBC standards and best practices.
Team player who is approachable and prepared to assist.
