Overview
We are seeking a skilled MIG/TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding various metal components with precision and efficiency. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your welding expertise and mechanical knowledge within a supportive environment that values quality craftsmanship. Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding on various materials, including sheet metal, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and safety standards.
Operate MIG welding equipment to assemble and fabricate metal structures and components.
Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to accurately produce components.
Conduct quality checks on welded joints and fabricated parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Assist in the assembly of finished products, ensuring proper fit and finish.
Troubleshoot welding issues and perform basic maintenance on equipment as needed.

Experience

Proven experience in TIG welding, with a strong understanding of welding techniques.
Hands-on experience with fabrication processes involving sheet metal and the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Mechanical knowledge relevant to assembly processes and metalworking industries.
Ability to perform basic maths calculations for measurements, tolerances, and material estimations.
Familiarity with reading technical drawings, blueprints, or schematics is highly desirable.
Previous experience working in a manufacturing or workshop environment is preferred but not essential for highly motivated candidates willing to learn.

Pay: £12.21-£16.00 per hour
