Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Must produce NEAT HIGH QUALITY WORK

Duties

Perform MIG welding and other welding techniques as required
Fabricate components using sheet metal and other materials
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Assemble parts according to specifications and engineering drawings
Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines

Experience

Proven experience in welding, particularly MIG welding, is essential
Familiarity with fabrication processes and techniques
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings
Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks
Previous experience in assembly work is advantageous
