Parcel Delivery Driver
Job reference: 338443
Location: Northampton , Crow Lane Delivery Office, NN3 9UB
Job type: Permanent contract
Hours: 30:00 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday - Sunday, working between 13:30 and 20:00

Due to operational demand, you will be required to work Saturday and Sunday, according to a local rota/plan.

However, it’s not just about driving and deliveries. Prepping your van and workload for the day, you will use route-planning technology tools, to ensure each parcel gets to the right place, at the right time. You deliver much more than parcels. A bit about you

Upbeat, self-motivated and thrive whilst working independently
Organised, punctual with great initiative
Committed to the delivery of great customer service
Comfortable interacting with customers, acting as a positive ambassador for Royal mail
Happy to work in the afternoon and early evenings
Enjoy a multi drop driving role, delivering parcels across the week in the assigned area
Possess a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35- 37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 40 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.
