With £250,000 being invested to create an exceptional sports-led experience, our Grandstand pubs are built for people who live and breathe live sport. Featuring huge screens, top-tier entertainment, great food and drink, and an unbeatable atmosphere, we don't just show sport, we live it. From matchdays to live music and major sporting occasions, Grandstand pubs bring local communities and fans together, creating the perfect environment for your next partnership opportunity.

The Union Inn in Hinckley is a traditional town-centre pub located in Hinckley, Leicestershire. It offers a cosy atmosphere with a wide drinks selection, and amenities such as a beer garden, pool table, and dartboard. The pub is due major investment next year to transform this business into a Marston's Grandstand pub.

The Union attracts a friendly mix of local regulars, families, and groups of friends, creating a welcoming community feel.

The pub is wet only currently, however post-capex, will offer the Marston's company menu. The pub is delivering weekly sales of around £6,000 with strong growth potential thanks to its central Hinckley location and upcoming investment. By building on its reputation as a friendly local, the pub could expand footfall through themed nights, live entertainment, and partnerships with local groups.

Its dog-friendly and family-friendly atmosphere provides scope to broaden daytime trade, and the spacious beer garden offers seasonal opportunities for outdoor events. With thoughtful investment in marketing and experience-driven offerings, The Union Inn is well positioned to grow both its loyal regular base and new visitors.

We’re looking for an experienced, sports-driven Pub Partner who thrives in high-energy, wet-led environments and knows how to create standout guest experiences week in, week out. Previous food experience is essential, with experience operating branded food offers a strong advantage. You’ll be commercially focused, confident leading large teams, and passionate about using sport, atmosphere and great hospitality to drive results and make your pub the place everyone wants to be.

What’s in it for you?

22% share of weekly sales (excluding VAT) plus a guaranteed annual retained sum of £25K (released weekly)
Low ingoing costs, deposits starting from £5,000 and £360 legal cost. (*deposits can vary dependant on business – ask us for more details*)
Accommodation included with most bills covered, except the council tax & TV License (*a fee may be payable for some services such as garden maintenance)
