Overview

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Kitchen Porter, where your energy and dedication will keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

Assist with basic food preparation tasks to support the kitchen team in delivering quality dishes
Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware efficiently
Ensure all kitchen equipment and surfaces are sanitized according to health and safety standards
Organize and store supplies properly to facilitate smooth kitchen operations
Support serving staff by ensuring clean and ready dishware for service periods
Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to uphold environmental standards
Follow health and safety regulations diligently to promote a safe working environment for everyone

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and kitchen hygiene practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, and moving items throughout shifts
