Role Information

We are looking for an Incident Manager to join our technology department.

This is a permanent position, hybrid working, coming into our Burton office 2 days a week

Are you calm under pressure, decisive in the moment, and passionate about keeping critical systems running seamlessly?

We’re looking for an Incident Manager to take ownership of our incident management process—ensuring swift resolution, minimal disruption, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing -

As an Incident Manager, you'll be at the heart of our technology operations:
Lead the end-to-end incident management process across low, medium, and high-priority incidents
Coordinate internal teams and external partners to resolve incidents quickly and effectively
Prioritise incidents based on business impact and urgency
Drive root cause analysis and identify preventative measures
Create and continuously improve incident protocols and documentation
Maintain detailed logs to spot trends and recurring issues
Communicate clearly with stakeholders—including senior leadership—during major incidents
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure best practices are followed

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can lead with confidence:
Strong stakeholder management skills—comfortable engaging at all levels
Excellent problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
Ability to stay calm under pressure and make fast, sound decisions
Highly organised with a knack for prioritisation and delegation
Proven experience in incident, service, or IT operations management
ITIL v4 certification (or equivalent knowledge)
