Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to provide comprehensive administrative support within our legal team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of legal processes, managing correspondence, and maintaining accurate records. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and a passion for legal work to develop their career in a professional environment.

Duties

Draft, proofread, and manage legal documents, correspondence, and reports with precision.
Organise and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
Schedule appointments, court dates, and meetings, coordinating with clients and external agencies as needed.
Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client enquiries and assisting with general administrative tasks.
Conduct analysis of legal documents and data to support case preparation and research.
Liaise effectively with colleagues, clients, and external partners to facilitate communication and workflow.
Manage incoming calls, emails, and postal correspondence efficiently.
Assist with billing, invoicing, and other financial administrative duties related to legal cases.

Experience

Previous administrative experience within a legal environment is preferred but not essential; relevant organisational skills are vital.
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy under pressure.
Strong analysis skills to interpret legal documents and data accurately.
Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with legal management software is advantageous.
Organisational skills that enable prioritisation of tasks effectively in a busy setting. This role offers an engaging environment for motivated individuals eager to advance their career within the legal sector while providing essential support to our professional team.

Pay: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
