Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our team. This role involves managing front-desk operations, providing excellent customer service, and supporting administrative functions within our practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, , be proficient in office software, and demonstrate a friendly yet professional demeanour. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop valuable administrative experience in a dynamic setting.

This role will require to work on Saturdays.

Duties

Welcome visitors and patients in a courteous and professional manner
Answer and direct phone calls using proper phone etiquette
Manage appointment scheduling and calendar organisation
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail
Maintain organised records through data entry and filling system
Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and organising supplies
Support team members with administrative tasks as required
Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming at all times

Requirements

Previous receptionist experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for right candidate
Proficiency with computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential
Experience with data entry, clerical work, or administrative support is advantageous
