Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Pub Area Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout our pub's customer-facing areas. The ideal candidate will have previous cleaning experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. This position offers flexible part-time hours and the opportunity to work within a friendly and professional hospitality setting.

Duties

Carry out routine cleaning tasks throughout the pub, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards in customer areas, including the bar area, dining areas, seating areas, and entrances
Clean and restock customer and staff toilets, ensuring high hygiene standards are maintained at all times
Empty bins and dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with company procedures
Clean floors, windows, tables, chairs, fixtures, and other furnishings throughout the premises
Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively, following all relevant guidelines
Identify and report any maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns
Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for customers and colleagues
Assist with deep cleaning tasks as required

Skills

Previous experience in commercial, hospitality, or pub cleaning is preferred
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively with minimal supervision
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise cleaning tasks efficiently
Knowledge of the safe use and handling of cleaning products and equipment
Reliable, punctual, and flexible in meeting scheduled shifts
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy hospitality environment

This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining clean and welcoming spaces and are committed to delivering excellent standards of service. Successful applicants will be dependable, hardworking, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
