Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts and Payroll Officer Manager to oversee our financial and human resources functions. This role involves managing payroll processes, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience with various accounting software, and a solid understanding of human resources procedures. Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate salary payments for all staff.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, maintaining precise records of all transactions.
- Utilise accounting software such as Xero, Workday, HRIS systems, PeopleSoft, and other relevant platforms to process data entry and financial reporting.
- Reconcile financial statements regularly and prepare reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to payroll, taxation, and employment law.
- Coordinate with human resources to manage employee data updates, benefits administration, and related documentation.
- Analyse payroll data to identify discrepancies or inefficiencies and implement corrective measures.
- Supervise a team of finance and HR personnel, providing guidance on best practices in payroll management and accounting procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information while ensuring data accuracy across all systems.
Experience
- Proven experience in payroll management, ideally within a similar organisational setting.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Workday, HRIS platforms, PeopleSoft or equivalent systems.
- Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Demonstrable understanding of accounts payable processes and financial analysis techniques.
- Previous experience in human resources functions related to payroll administration is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under tight deadlines.

Pay: £29,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
