Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities, ensuring that all guests enjoy a welcoming and comfortable environment.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
Dust, vacuum, and mop floors; clean windows and mirrors; and sanitise bathrooms.
Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens.
Maintain an organised storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism while interacting with guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
A friendly and approachable demeanour with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving items up to 20 kg.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
