Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile individual to join our team as a Cook/Server on a split role basis. This position involves providing exceptional service to our guests while also contributing to food preparation and kitchen operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a seamless dining experience, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and supporting our friendly team as needed. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those with a passion for hospitality to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Support the chef with food preparation and cooking in the open kitchen, while adhering to food safety regulations
When not cooking serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously to guests, ensuring high standards of customer service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas and kitchen stations
Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
Take orders accurately, process payments, and manage table settings
Collaborate with team members to deliver a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for all guests
Assist in stock replenishment and inventory management as required

Qualifications

Previous experience in restaurant service or hospitality industry
Experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation techniques is essential
Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices within a kitchen environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with guests and team members
Ability to work flexibly on split shifts, including evenings and weekends if required
A genuine interest in Spanish food and customer service.

This role offers an hourly rate plus tips with mutually agreed minimum hours. Perfect for someone to work in an engaging work environment where you can enhance your hospitality skills while contributing to memorable guest experiences.
