Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to support the overall operations of our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high standards of service, and assisting in the smooth management of daily activities. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with management experience and a passion for hospitality to develop their careers within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and high standards of service.
Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding guest services, fostering a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
Coordinate with departments such as front desk, housekeeping, and food & beverage to ensure seamless service delivery.
Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
Support staff recruitment, training, and development initiatives to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue maximisation efforts.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Assist in organising promotional events and special functions to enhance guest engagement.

Requirements

Proven management experience within the hospitality industry or related service sector.
Strong knowledge of guest services principles and practices.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to lead by example, motivate teams, and foster a positive working environment.
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making abilities.
Previous experience in hospitality management is desirable but not essential; relevant management qualifications will be considered an advantage.
