Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This role offers an opportunity to develop specialised skills in food and beverage preparation within a dynamic environment. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced setting, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Handle food safety procedures diligently, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across all work areas.
Serve customers efficiently, taking orders accurately and providing friendly assistance to enhance their experience.
Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when required.
Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately using basic maths skills.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills. This position offers an engaging work environment where you can develop your skills in food preparation, customer service, and beverage crafting while contributing to a positive experience for our guests.

Pay: £12.72-£13.00 per hour
