Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Part Time Events Staff to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional service at various events, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, catering, and guest services, with a keen eye for detail and a friendly demeanour. This position offers flexible hours suitable for those looking to gain experience in the hospitality and events industry while delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

Assist with event setup and breakdown, ensuring all areas are prepared to high standards
Serve food and beverages in a courteous and efficient manner, maintaining excellent guest relations
Support catering services by preparing and presenting food items according to safety standards
Ensure food safety protocols are adhered to at all times during service
Provide information about menu options and event programmes to guests as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas throughout events
Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless event experiences
Handle guest enquiries professionally, offering assistance and resolving issues promptly

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential
Knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation techniques is advantageous
Experience working in hotels or culinary settings will be considered a plus
Strong guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
Friendly, adaptable, and able to work well as part of a team
No formal qualifications are required; however, enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service is essential
