We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Care Manager to join our growing team and help drive the continued success of our service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the domiciliary care service.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and care standards.
- Lead, supervise, and support care coordinators, senior carers, and care staff.
- Maintain high standards of care quality and service delivery.
- Conduct audits, quality assurance checks, spot checks, and service reviews.
- Manage safeguarding concerns, complaints, incidents, and investigations appropriately.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and staff development.
- Ensure care plans, risk assessments, and client records remain accurate and up to date.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, local authorities, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with CIW regulations and company policies.
- Participate in on-call duties as required.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (Leadership and Management) or equivalent qualification.
- Alternatively, a relevant Degree in Health and Social Care, Social Work, Nursing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience managing a domiciliary care service.
- Strong understanding of CIW regulations, safeguarding, and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Strong knowledge of care planning, risk assessments, medication management, and staff supervision.
Preferred Requirements
- Currently registered with CIW as a Registered Manager.
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a domiciliary care setting.
- Experience working with local authority contracts and regulated services.
- Experience managing compliance, inspections, and quality assurance processes.
