Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hairdresser to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent customer service skills, and a flair for creating personalised hair designs. This role offers opportunities to develop your skills in various beauty treatments, including eyelash extensions and makeup application, while providing exceptional service to our clients. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality hairdressing services in a welcoming environment, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of hairdressing services, including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments tailored to individual client needs.
Provide specialised services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction.
Offer expert advice on hair care products and styling techniques to optimise client results.
Manage appointments efficiently at the front desk, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Upsell retail products and additional services to maximise sales opportunities.
Maintain a clean, organised workspace adhering to health and safety standards.
Cultivate strong relationships with clients through excellent communication skills and personalised service.

Skills

Proven experience in hairdressing with a strong portfolio of previous work.
Proficiency in barbering techniques is desirable.
Experience in store management or overseeing salon operations is advantageous.
Skilled in eyelash extensions, makeup application, and other beauty treatments.
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and retail sales efficiently.
Ability to mentor team members and foster a positive working environment.
Excellent communication skills to clearly explain styling options and product recommendations.
A proactive approach towards upselling services and retail products to enhance client experience.
