Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary expertise within a professional kitchen environment, contributing to memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
Assist in the organisation and management of kitchen stations, ensuring smooth service delivery
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, adhering to food safety regulations
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure ingredients are fresh and available
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient meal preparation and service
Follow all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Support junior kitchen staff as needed, providing guidance and training where appropriate

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
Previous experience in meal preparation and serving is desirable but not essential
Culinary qualification or relevant training is advantageous
Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings and weekends if necessary
