Based from a designated DPD depot. Delivery routes may cover surrounding areas as allocated.

Role Overview

FCB Logistics LTD is seeking reliable and professional self-employed courier drivers to provide parcel delivery services on behalf of our client network.

Drivers will be responsible for the safe collection and delivery of parcels within a designated route area while maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance with road safety regulations.

This opportunity is offered on a self-employed basis, allowing drivers to operate as independent contractors responsible for their own tax and National Insurance obligations.

Key Responsibilities

Courier drivers will be responsible for:

Collecting parcels from the assigned depot.
Loading and organising parcels within the delivery vehicle.
Delivering parcels safely and efficiently within the allocated route area.
Providing excellent customer service during deliveries and collections.
Using handheld delivery scanning devices where required.
Ensuring all parcels are delivered in accordance with operational procedures.
Reporting delivery issues, damages, or incidents promptly.
Following safe driving practices and all UK road traffic laws.
Maintaining professional conduct when representing the company and its client.

Vehicle & Equipment

Drivers may be provided with:

A delivery vehicle (subject to agreement)
Fuel card (business use only)
Uniform

Drivers are responsible for ensuring the safe and proper use of all equipment supplied.

Compliance Requirements

All drivers must:

Hold a full valid UK driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category.
Have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
Pass a background and licence check where required.
Comply with all applicable road traffic and safety laws.

Earnings

Payment is typically structured based on one or more of the following:

Daily route rate
Per parcel delivery rate
Performance-based incentives

Working Pattern
