Job Summary

Join our team as a Delivery Driver and Warehouse Operative in, where you’ll be the vital link between our company and our valued customers. This role combines efficient delivery services with hands-on warehouse responsibilities, ensuring products reach their destinations safely and on time. Your drive, communication skills, and ability to handle physical tasks will contribute to a seamless operation that keeps our customers happy and our logistics running smoothly. if you enjoy both driving and warehouse work, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase your skills and grow with us.

Duties

Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to various locations within and surrounding areas
Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and ensure timely arrivals
Load, unload, and organize stock within the warehouse, including heavy lifting tasks
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and update logs for inbound and outbound shipments
Communicate clearly with team members, customers, and dispatchers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly
Conduct vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met
Assist with warehouse duties such as stock replenishment, inventory checks, and order picking when not on deliveries

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles
Valid <PERSON> driver’s license
Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety procedures for heavy vehicles
Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and manual handling.
Organised with good time management skills to meet delivery deadlines efficiently.
