Office Administrator

Nationwide Transport & Training Group Ltd – Larne

£13.50 per hour | Full-time | Permanent

Nationwide Transport & Training Group Ltd is a growing provider of transport compliance, operator licensing, training and consultancy services, supporting businesses throughout the UK and Ireland.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Office Administrator to join our team at our Larne office.

This is a varied role within a busy professional office and would suit someone who is organised, confident dealing with customers and comfortable managing a range of administrative responsibilities throughout the working day.

Previous experience within transport or compliance is not essential, as full training will be provided.

The Role

Working as part of our office team, you will provide administrative support across our operator licensing, transport compliance, training and consultancy services.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Managing incoming telephone calls, emails and customer enquiries
Providing professional administrative support to clients
Booking and administering training courses
Preparing course paperwork, registers, certificates and joining instructions
Assisting with Operator Licence applications and associated administration
Uploading, organising and maintaining client documentation
Maintaining accurate electronic files and customer records
Preparing letters, reports and other business documents
Scheduling appointments, trainers, consultants and client visits
Assisting with invoicing and general accounts administration
Following up with clients for outstanding information and documentation
Supporting the wider team with general office administration

As you develop within the role, you will receive training in the specialist areas of our business, including Operator Licensing, transport compliance, tachograph administration and Driver CPC training.

About You

We are looking for someone who is reliable, organised and takes pride in producing accurate work.

The successful candidate should have:

Previous experience in an office, administrative or customer service role
Strong organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication skills
Confidence speaking with customers by telephone and email
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
The ability to prioritise and manage several tasks at once
A professional and positive approach to customers and colleagues
The ability to work independently while also contributing to a team

Experience within transport, logistics, training, compliance or professional services would be advantageous, but is not required.
