Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the overall smooth operation of the kitchen. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts to showcase their expertise in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, adhering to recipes and presentation guidelines
Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, ensuring consistency and quality in meal preparation
Assist in developing new menu items and seasonal specials
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your designated work station in compliance with food safety regulations
Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or needs to the head chef or sous chef
Support junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as required
Ensure all food safety standards are strictly followed throughout food handling and storage processes
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods
Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
Previous restaurant experience is advantageous, along with serving experience in hospitality settings
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
