Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in kitchen operations and a keen eye for detail to contribute to our renowned establishment.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
Assist in the organisation and supervision of kitchen stations, ensuring smooth operation during service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, adhering strictly to food safety regulations
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure availability of ingredients
Ensure all food is prepared efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner during busy service periods
Support junior team members by providing guidance and training as needed

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation within a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in fast-paced settings
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
A genuine passion for culinary arts and continuous learning in the hospitality industry
Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings and weekends if necessary
