Overview
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Print Finisher to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to develop specialised skills in print finishing and fabrication processes. The position involves hands-on training in various finishing techniques, with the potential for career growth within the company. Applicants should be eager to learn, physically capable, and interested in working within a manufacturing environment that values precision and quality.

Duties

Assist with the finishing of printed materials, including trimming
Operate hand tools, power tools, and sewing equipment under supervision
Support fabrication tasks such as assembling printed products and components
Handle heavy lifting of materials and finished goods safely and efficiently
Maintain organisation of work areas within the warehouse or production floor
Follow safety procedures and quality standards throughout all tasks
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of print finishing projects

Skills

Basic mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and troubleshooting
Experience with hand tools and power tools is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
Familiarity with sewing, fabrication, or assembly processes is a plus
Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding inventory handling and organisation
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to different tasks within the print finishing process

This role provides valuable practical experience in print finishing operations, offering a foundation for future specialised roles within manufacturing or production sectors.

Pay: £24,420.00-£28,000.00 per year
