Assistant Manager – Ladies-Only Premium Gym & Wellness Space

Location: Tonbridge, Kent
Employment Type: Full-Time , 40 hours per week
Start Date: September 2026

About Us

We are a brand-new ladies-only premium gym and wellness space that launched last year in the heart of Tonbridge. Designed to be more than just a gym, our mission is to create an empowering, inclusive, and inspiring environment where women can focus on their fitness, mental wellbeing, and self-care all under one elegant roof.

We are now looking for a passionate, energetic, and organised Assistant Manager to help lead our growing team and deliver an exceptional experience to every member.

Your Role

As our Assistant Manager, you'll support the General Manager in day-to-day operations, lead by example on the gym floor, and help shape a positive, community-focused culture. You will play a vital role in launching the business and ensuring operational excellence from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Support with daily operations including staff supervision, scheduling, and floor management
Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve member issues with empathy and efficiency
Assist with membership sales, onboarding, and lead generation initiatives
Support and lead the team of personal trainers and front-of-house staff
Ensure the facility is always immaculately clean, safe, and welcoming
Monitor and report on KPIs such as member satisfaction, retention, team performance and commercial performance.
Contribute to marketing ideas, community outreach, and events

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in fitness/leisure.
A genuine passion for women’s wellness, fitness, and creating a safe and supportive space
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate a team and build positive member relationships
Excellent organisational and communication abilities
A proactive attitude, with a hands-on approach and problem-solving mindset
A Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification (Level 3 Personal Trainer is a bonus)
