Join our dedicated team and help deliver exceptional patient care at GenesisCare UK. As a Medical Secretary, you’ll support consultants with diary management, patient coordination, referrals, and medical correspondence — ensuring every patient journey runs smoothly and professionally.

We’re looking for someone with strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and experience in administration or medical secretarial work. Knowledge of medical terminology and diary management is highly desirable.

The Role:
In this vital role, you’ll provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to our consultants, helping ensure a smooth and positive experience for every patient. From managing consultant diaries and coordinating appointments to handling referrals, medical records, and correspondence, you’ll play an essential part in supporting patient pathways and delivering exceptional service.

What You'll Do:

Managing consultant diaries and clinic schedules
Coordinating patient appointments and referrals
Preparing and processing medical correspondence and clinic dictations
Acting as a key point of contact for patients, consultants, and healthcare professionals
Ensuring medical records and diagnostic results are received and shared promptly
Supporting the wider administration team to maintain efficient clinic operations

What You'll Have:

Previous experience in a medical secretary or administrative role
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Professional and confident telephone manner
Ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines
Knowledge of medical terminology and Microsoft Office systems
Audio typing or strong keyboard skills are desirable
