Marketing Executive & Copywriter

We are recruiting for a Marketing Executive & Copywriter to join our friendly team in Burntwood!

You will have the opportunity to join a creative Marketing team to help market our range of unique furniture to both customers and businesses, both online and offline and enjoy a friendly, fast-paced environment.

You will be providing administrative, copywriting, e-commerce and general support across all aspects of the Marketing function. This role is office based, the individual will be required to work at our offices Monday to Friday full time in Burntwood. Due to the nature of the role, flexible working is not available.

The Marketing Executive & Copywriter also works closely with other teams and departments, to ensure that products are promoted, presented, and uploaded across all shopping channels to optimise profitability. This includes copywriting product descriptions, blogs, project pages, uploading new products to marketing platforms and driving online traffic with web-related campaigns.

It is key that the Marketing Executive & Copywriter has a keen attention to detail, with a strong ability to produce quality written content and assists the Marketing Manager in writing reports and analysing sales performance and data.

The role will involve:

Copywriting

Responsible for writing high quality product descriptions online for all marketing platforms with the brand's tone of voice.
Trade projects: organising and contacting potential projects. Creating project page copy, sourcing images, and uploading projects to the website.
Planning and copywriting seasonal blog posts, press releases and promotional content.
Assisting with writing features for social, advertorial and email content.
Writing engaging brochure and trade show content.
Proofreading content.

Marketing Administration & SEO:

Liaising with the SEO Agency to create a SEO strategy and ensure all content is optimised and organising SEO quarter plans.
Monitoring and replying to testimonial reviews.
Assisting with the organisation of photos after photoshoots.
Monitoring Google Analytics and completing weekly reports.
Updating product categories depending on sales figures and keyword research.
Creating marketing reports and monitoring analytics to help form marketing strategies.
Assisting with the product uploading process from start to finish to marketing selling platforms. This includes updating selling platforms with dimensions, images, product prices and optimised descriptions.

Campaign Support:

Assisting with the planning of the content calendar, for blogs, press releases, project case studies and campaigns, to help increase brand awareness and conversions.
Campaign planning through organising and executing ideas for marketing promotions.
Confident to talk on camera when required for company social media platforms.

Knowledge & Experience Required

1 year experience in a Marketing role or a Bachelor's degree (with a concentration in Marketing, Business or English preferred)
Copywriting experience, excellent writing skills and command of the English language is essential.
Exceptional organisational skills.
Uses own initiative and can manage own workload.
Ability to communicate effectively across all departments.
Keen eye for detail and ability to think creatively for marketing campaign ideas.
Strong team player.
Can work under pressure to achieve tight deadlines.
Willing to support all members of the marketing team and pick up workload to achieve business goals and objectives.
Passion and enthusiasm for writing and marketing, with a creative flair
