Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and organized Garage Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our service center. In this vital role, you will manage the front desk operations, coordinate appointments, and provide exceptional customer service to vehicle owners and team members alike. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure smooth daily operations, creating a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic automotive environment where your organizational skills and friendly demeanor make a real difference.

Duties

Greet customers warmly as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression
Manage incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette, scheduling appointments and answering inquiries
Maintain accurate records of vehicle check-ins and check-outs using computer software such as Auto Garage Networks
Enter data efficiently into systems, including customer details, service requests, and billing information
Coordinate with technicians and staff to schedule repairs, inspections, and follow-up appointments
Keep the reception area organized, tidy, and welcoming for visitors and clients
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and managing correspondence via Google Workspace or similar tools

Experience

Prior office experience or administrative background preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar), and data entry systems
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated phone etiquette with clear communication skills
Clerical experience involving record keeping, scheduling, or customer service is highly desirable
Ability to type quickly and accurately to support efficient workflow
