About Us

We are a very busy, NHS dental practice in the South Manchester area. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee Dental Nurse.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to begin a rewarding career in dental nursing, with full support, training, and development provided within a professional practice environment.

The Role

As a Trainee Dental Nurse , you will play an important role in supporting both our clinical and reception teams. This position offers the opportunity to develop valuable skills while working in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Dental Nursing Duties

Assisting dentists during patient treatments
Preparing treatment rooms and equipment
Sterilising and decontaminating instruments in line with practice protocols
Supporting patients throughout their dental journey
Maintaining accurate patient records
Ensuring high standards of cross-infection control and health and safety

Reception Duties

Welcoming patients and providing excellent customer service
Answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries
Booking and managing appointments
Processing payments and handling administrative tasks
Updating patient records and correspondence
Supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the practice
Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
