Cheltenham town centre | Full-time or part-time | Office-based
Salary: Dependent on experience and working hours

Davis Gregory is expanding, and we are looking for an organised and enthusiastic Legal Administration Assistant to support teams across the firm.

This practical and varied role offers valuable experience of how a law firm operates. It would be a strong addition to the CV of someone interested in developing a legal or professional-services career.

Previous legal experience is welcome but not required. What matters most is that you are accurate, reliable, computer literate and ready to get involved.

What you’ll be doing

Closing physical and electronic files.
Checking that files and records are complete.
Preparing files for archiving, storage and retrieval.
Scanning, copying, saving, filing and organising documents.
Updating case management systems, databases and administrative records.
Assisting with file reviews and administrative checks.
Answering calls and taking accurate messages when required.
Providing general administrative support across different teams.

About you

Computer literate and confident using Microsoft Office.
Organised, accurate and able to manage several priorities.
A clear and professional communicator.
Reliable, positive and willing to learn.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Conscious of confidentiality and the careful handling of information.

What we offer

Full-time or part-time working arrangements.
Full-time hours of Monday to Friday, 9.00am–5.00pm, with a one-hour lunch break.
20 days’ annual leave plus public holidays, calculated pro rata.
Guidance on the firm’s systems and processes.
Practical experience across different legal teams.
Valuable legal-administration and transferable skills for your CV.
The possibility of an extension or future opportunity, subject to business needs and performance.
