With an unprecedented workload we are offering a fantastic opportunity to join a family business as a Radial Drill operator and general hand.

Albutt is a wholly owned family business, manufacturing equipment for the Agricultural, Construction, Forestry and Waste handling industries throughout Europe and the World. We specialize in the design, development and manufacture of attachments for materials handling.

Job: Experienced Radial Drill Operator / General Hand – Full Time

We are a long established and growing business that offers excellent working conditions and stability. This role is based in our Great Washbourne factory.

The role is full time and permanent. Duties will mainly involve Radial Drilling profiles cut on our in house machines and cleaning the profiles in our linishing bay. The role will also involve but not be limited to operating our Kaltenbach saws, sharpening drill bits on our Brierley drill sharpener and to a lesser extent operating our milling machines and lathe.

We are a very forward thinking company and are constantly investing in new processes to improve productivity, safety and circumstances for all involved.

All equipment is supplied including overalls, boots, PPE and you will be working in a well lit, heated factory.

You will need to have experience with Radial Drills and Milling Machines, however training on all other aspects of the job can, and will, be given.

Experience using other workshop machinery an advantage.

The ability to read technical drawings is essential as is a proven work history. Two work references will be required.

It will be your responsibility to ensure your work conforms to the quality and output requirements laid out by your Production Manager & Foreman.

You will have a positive, enthusiastic and committed attitude and approach to work along with the ability to carry out tasks with minimum supervision while also working alongside other team members.

Working hours are: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm. Overtime is available depending on factory workload.

Wage will be starting from £14.50 and upwards depending on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
