What will I be responsible for as a Meetings Events Sales Office Manager?

If you have found yourself here, we would guess that you have a passion for relationship building and enjoy working behind the scenes to ensure every event runs seamlessly.

Your role as a Meetings Events Sales Office Manager will see you:

Client Sales Focused: Handle enquiries, conduct show rounds, convert leads to bookings, build client relationships, meet sales targets and see every challenge through to a successful outcome.
Event Planning Logistics: Create detailed event plans, function sheets, timetables; menus, and client needs bespoke for every meeting or event.
Coordination: Liaise with internal teams who will trust you to utilise initiatives and support each other in delivering outstanding events for our clients who want to come back over and over again.
On-Site Support: Meet your clients when they are in house, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high service standards as a team.
Administration: Manage event database (OPERA), post charges for your events, process invoices, handle payments, and update records.
Reporting: Prepare reports as requested, track budgets, and analyse performance to ensure we reach our targets across the ME segments.

Essential Skills:

Organisation Time Management: Juggling multiple tasks and deadlines.
Communication: s written and verbal skills for clients and teams.
Customer Service: Problem-solving, professionalism, and a guest-focused approach.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring all event elements are perfect.
Sales Acumen: Driving revenue and business growth.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with event management systems OPERA, Outlook and Microsoft office.
Minimum 4 years meeting and events sales office experience.
