HR Administrator

Location: Waltham Cross, Herts

Salary: Competitive

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm (excluding breaks)

We are looking for a proactive, highly organised HR Administrator to join our HR Team and help deliver a first-class employee experience. If you enjoy variety, thrive in a busy environment, and take pride in getting the detail right, this could be the perfect next step in your HR career.

What you’ll be doing

Supporting the full employee lifecycle, including starters, contracts of employment, contractual changes and leavers.
Preparing HR documentation and maintaining accurate, up-to-date employee records.
Support absence recording processes and provide guidance to managers.
Provide support with onboarding/offboarding and induction processes where required.
Working closely with managers, Payroll, Recruitment, L&D and other internal teams.
Provide administrative support in relation to disciplinary, performance, and grievance matters
Supporting compliance activity and helping ensure HR administration remains audit ready.
Providing professional, efficient and people-focused administrative support on HR policies and procedures across the group.
Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.

What we’re looking for

Previous HR administration experience in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Level 3 CIPD qualification or working towards.
Up to date knowledge of HR legislation and UK Employment Law.
Familiarity with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office suite.
Experience in managing HR data, including system configuration, data maintenance, and report generation.
Excellent organisation skills with strong attention to detail.
A confident communicator who can build effective working relationships.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and work accurately under pressure.
A positive, proactive approach and a genuine passion for delivering great HR support.
Previous experience in Food or logistics environments is a bonus—but not essential.
