Early Years Practitioner

Location: Thrive Cotton Lane, Chester
Job Type: Full Time & Part Time Available
Salary: £13.65 per hour (Level 2) – £14.00 per hour (Level 3)

Job description

At Thrive Childcare and Education, we put our children first—but we look after you too. As an Early Years Practitioner, you are at the heart of everything we do, supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in a safe and nurturing nursery environment.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Thrive Cotton Lane, Chester. This role is ideal for an experienced Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Practitioner, or Nursery Nurse looking to grow within a supportive and forward-thinking childcare setting.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality early years education and care, ensuring every child has the best start in life.

Key Responsibilities – Early Years Practitioner

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
Support children’s learning, development, and school readiness
Build strong relationships with parents and carers
Observe, assess, and track children’s progress
Work as part of a team to deliver outstanding childcare
Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating nursery environment
Continue your professional development as an Early Years Practitioner

Requirements

Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
Experience working as an Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Nurse (preferred)
Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive approach
