Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role involves overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained. The Chef will play a vital role in inspiring the kitchen team and creating innovative menus that delight our guests.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service.
Oversee all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards.
Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.
Develop and implement creative menus that align with the restaurant’s concept and customer preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold hygiene standards at all times.
Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive team environment centred on continuous improvement.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver seamless service experiences for guests.
Monitor food costs and optimise utilisation of ingredients to minimise waste.

Skills

Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality environment.
Extensive culinary knowledge across various cuisines and techniques.
Excellent understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Exceptional communication skills to motivate staff and coordinate with other departments.
