Full job description

We are looking for a warm, organised, and reliable Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our dental practice.

As a key part of our front-of-house team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our patients have a positive and seamless experience from the moment they arrive.

About the Role
Working closely with our Business Manager and Clinical Manager, you’ll help coordinate appointments, manage patient communications, and support the day-to-day non-clinical operations of the practice.

Duties

Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
Schedule appointments, manage the appointment calendar, and confirm patient visits.
Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional manner.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with data protection regulations.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries effectively.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and support during procedures as needed.
Uphold a clean and organised reception area, contributing to a positive patient experience.

Experience

Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred, ideally within a healthcare or dental setting.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Proficiency in using office software and equipment; familiarity with dental practice management software is advantageous but not essential.
A compassionate approach towards patients, demonstrating empathy and understanding in all interactions.
