Full job description

Are you practical, reliable, and enjoy a bit of variety in your day? We're looking for an enthusiastic On-Call Caretaker to join our team across two beautiful holiday parks, including our sister park in Llangollen.

This role would suit someone who is retired, semi-retired, or simply looking for flexible, reduced hours while staying active and involved.

What you'll be doing:

Carrying out weekend hot tub checks and basic maintenance (where required) across both parks
Acting as a trusted point of contact for guests when reception is closed
Helping resolve guest issues quickly and professionally, ensuring every stay runs as smoothly as possible
Using your initiative to troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions when unexpected situations arise
Delivering outstanding customer service and going the extra mile to create a five-star guest experience
Undertaking light groundskeeping duties to help keep our parks looking their best
Assisting with general maintenance and DIY tasks around the parks
Providing emergency on-call cover on alternate weeks via telephone and/or in person

What we're looking for:

A practical, hands-on approach and good problem-solving skills
Friendly customer service skills and a willingness to help guests
Basic DIY or maintenance experience
A full driving licence and willingness to travel between both parks, including weekend visits to our sister park in Llangollen for hot tub inspections

Hours:

On-call telephone cover on alternate weeks
Approximately 4 hours on your allocated Saturday and 4 hours on your allocated Sunday
